Terms

Terms of use

The service

Bookstarr helps readers organize books, track progress, save private reflections, read stored guides, and join private friend leagues. Features may change during the preview.

Your account

You are responsible for access to your Google account and for activity under your Bookstarr session. Do not impersonate others, automate abusive traffic, evade rate limits, or use the service to harass another reader.

Your content

You retain rights in reflection and profile text you submit. You give Bookstarr the limited permission required to store, process, display according to your visibility setting, export, and delete that content as part of operating the service.

Book and guide content

Book metadata, cover art, source material, and curated videos may belong to their respective providers and creators. Bookstarr guides are analytical aids and may contain mistakes. They do not replace the book and should not be treated as professional advice.

Fair play and safety

League points are a motivational game based on activity recorded in Bookstarr, not externally verified achievement. Bookstarr may remove abusive content, limit activity, investigate reports, block access, or correct scores to protect readers and service integrity.

Availability and ending use

The early-access service is provided as available and may change, pause, or end. Bookstarr may restrict access when reasonably needed for safety, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or service integrity. You may export your data and permanently delete your account from your profile.

Responsibility and applicable rights

Bookstarr does not promise that guides, recommendations, metadata, or the service will always be accurate, complete, or available. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Bookstarr is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow Bookstarr to exclude.
